Active kids: Create lifelong healthy habits
Did you know that children need at least 60 minutes of active playtime each day? Exercise each day helps your child grow strong and healthy, sleep better, feel happy, and be ready to learn at school.
Children do not need hard gym workouts. Any type of play that raises kids' heartbeats and makes them breathe faster and feel warmer counts! Finding fun movement kids enjoy will help them make habits that will help them for life. Dancing, sports and playing tag with friends all count. Walking with a group or bike riding can be a fun way to bond and exercise with everyone.
For group fitness classes, check out our Live Better sites near you. The Delano Live Better Program has classes just for kids, plus for adults as well! Click here for the most up-to-date locations and times.
Let’s all build healthy habits!
