Help us stop health care fraud. Here are some common cases.

Member fraud

• Using someone else’s KFHC member ID card
• Providing false information on forms
• Visiting many doctors and/or pharmacies to get the same drug
• Trying to get medications that a doctor has not ordered
• Misusing KFHC transportation for rides not linked to Medi-Cal benefits

Provider fraud

• Falsifying medical records
• Billing for services that were not given
• Giving more health care services than medically needed

Do you know someone doing these things? If so, call us at 1-800-391-2000 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can report anonymously.

What’s new: You may get text messages from KFHC asking if you received services from your doctor(s). Please answer with “Yes,” “No” or “I don’t remember.” This will help us make sure doctors are reporting your visits the right way.
