Need extra support during pregnancy and birth?
KFHC now offers the doula benefit for expecting moms and their babies!
A doula is a person trained to give moms and families support before, during, and after birth.
Doulas:
- Comfort and coach moms during pregnancy and labor
- Help with breastfeeding
- Answer questions and guide families
- Speak up for moms' needs
Doulas don't replace doctors or nurses, but they make sure families feel cared for and understood.
Having a doula can lead to healthier moms and babies. They are also helpful in areas with few doctors or clinics, known as "health care deserts."
With a doula, families are not alone. They have a caring guide every step of the way.
