Keep yourself and your family covered. You must renew your Medi-Cal every year. If you renewed without taking action last year, you may have to take action to renew this year. Make sure that Medi-Cal has your current address, email, and phone number.

You don't want to miss your renewal packet or notices. When it's time for your renewal, look for your renewal packet in the mail. If you have not received a notice or renewal packet, log in to the BenefitsCal portal to check your status. You can turn in your packet or needed documents online, by mail, by phone, or in person.

• Log in to your BenefitsCal account at www.benefitscal.com.
• Mail your completed packet or needed documents to P.O. Box 511, Bakersfield, CA 93302-9985.
• Call 1.800.391.2000 and select option 9 for help over the phone.
• Go in person to your nearest County Department of Human Services office or to Kern Family Health Care.
